National Technical University of Athens – May, 4th – 5th 2023

A beautiful spring welcomed FAST SMART project in Athens for the celebration of the 36 Progress Meeting, Review Meeting and 2nd Training Session, hosted by Professor Costas Chariditis and its staff from the National Technical University of Athens – Materials Department.

The consortium had also the pleasure to have the presencial attendance of the project officer, Dr. Achilleas Stalios from the European Commission, and the on-line participation of Dr. Victoria Folea , the project reviewer.

Professor Yi Qin from the University of Strathclyde, the project coordinator, opened the 36 months meeting of the EU FAST-SMART project by welcoming project partners and introducing the EU project officers. The hybrid meeting was held physically in Athens and in parallel on Zoom. Dr. Song Yang from the University of Strathclyde introduced the meeting agenda and reviewed the project progress for each work-packages until Month 36.

The meeting was then followed by reporting the progress during the review period (M18-M36) for each work-package, which included a brief introduction of work done during the 1st 18 months review period and the main achievements for the 2nd review period until M36.
